Privacy policy
In short: IntercomGo does not collect, store or share personal data. Voice travels directly from one phone to the other in real time and is not recorded or sent to servers. Payments are processed by Google Play.
1. Developer
The IntercomGo app ("the app") is developed by Johnattan Achury, an individual based in Neiva, Huila, Colombia. Contact: soporte@intercomgo.com.
2. What the app does
IntercomGo is a voice intercom for motorcyclists. It connects two nearby Android phones over Wi-Fi Direct so their users can talk to each other without cell signal or internet connection.
3. Data the app does not collect
The app has no servers of its own and does not use analytics, advertising or tracking services. It does not ask for registration, name, email, phone number or location, and it does not build user profiles.
4. Audio
Audio captured by the microphone is transmitted in real time only to the phone the user chose to connect with, through the direct Wi-Fi Direct connection between both devices. Audio is not recorded, stored or routed through the developer's or any third party's servers.
5. Phone permissions and their purpose
- Microphone: to capture the user's voice and transmit it to the other phone during a conversation.
- Nearby Wi-Fi devices and Wi-Fi state: to find the other phone and establish the direct connection.
- Location: on some Android versions, the system requires this permission to search for nearby devices over Wi-Fi Direct. The app does not obtain, store or share the user's location.
- Bluetooth: to use Bluetooth headsets or intercoms connected to the phone.
- Notifications and foreground service: to keep the conversation active with the screen off and show a notification while it is in progress.
6. Information stored only on the phone
To manage the 7-day free trial and the full version unlock, the app stores the trial start date and the license status on the phone itself. This information is not sent to the developer. If the user has Android backup enabled, the system may include it in the backup of their Google account, under Google's terms.
7. Free trial and one-time purchase
The app offers 7 days of full use for free. After that, continued use requires a one-time payment through Google Play; there are no subscriptions or recurring charges. Payment is processed by Google with its own systems, under the Google Privacy Policy. The developer does not receive or keep card or payment method data; Google may provide limited transaction information (for example, order number, product and country) for accounting, support and legal compliance purposes.
8. Children
The app is intended for people aged 18 and over and is not designed for children.
9. Your rights
Under Colombian Law 1581 of 2012 and its regulations, data subjects may access, update, correct and delete their personal data and revoke their consent. Since the app does not collect personal data, the developer does not in principle keep information about its users. If you write to the support email, your contact details will be used only to answer your request, and you may ask for their deletion at any time. Users in other countries may exercise the rights granted by their local law, such as the GDPR, through the same email.
10. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated, for example if the app adds new features. The current version will always be published on this page with its update date.
